Calling all girls in grades 7-12 with an interest in learning the fundamentals of computer science and programming.

We meet Wednesdays 5:30PM – 7:00PM.
February 12th – May 13th, 2020.
No experience is required – We will teach you!

What You'll Learn
Fall Term: Backend
In this term you'll learn:
- Find out what’s driving your computer (or website) to process information!
- Learn how to code in Python, starting off with the Core 4 fundamentals
- Logical approach to problem-solving
- Weekly activities with a dynamic group of volunteers
- Build simple games like tic-tac-toe and hangman from scratch
Spring Term: Frontend
In this term you'll learn:
- HTML - learning to build the blueprint of an app or site
- CSS - bringing your HTML to life through styling
- Component-driven development
- A mobile-first approach to styling
- Flexbox - putting all your components into place
